Community Service

Each quarter Collective employees give back to the community with Collective Cares. Whether it’s volunteering at a soup kitchen, buying Christmas presents for underprivileged families, or hosting soccer games at inner city schools, Collective employees are committed to putting forth time and effort toward worthwhile causes.

Past Events Include:

New York Cares Coat Drive: In December 2011, the New York office hosted a coat drive for needy New Yorkers.

Upward Bound House: In December 2011, LA employees sorted food and stocked shelves at a social service agency dedicated to helping the homeless.

Ace of Hearts: In June 2011, LA employees volunteered at a pet adoption event and raised over $600 for the organization.

The Rugged Maniac 5K: In May 2011, Collective employees participated in a 5K race/obstacle course to support First Descents, an organization committed to the rehabilitation of young adults afflicted with cancer.

Heal the Bay: In March 2011, Collective participated in a 2 hour beach cleanup in Santa Monica, CA.

Bowling for Breast Cancer: In February 2011, Collective volunteers in NYC raised money to support breast cancer research.

The Bowery Mission: In January 2011, Collective volunteers cooked and served food to the residents of a recovery facility for the homeless in NYC.

Carter Burden Center for the Aging: In December 2010, Collective employees put on a caroling performance for the residents of an elderly home in NYC.

New York Cares Winter Wishes: In December 2010, Collective bought and wrapped gifts for needy families in New York.

Westside Food Bank: In December 2010, Collective employees participated in a food drive as well as organized and boxed donated food items in Santa Monica, CA.

Ronald McDonald House: In September 2010, Collective volunteers cleaned a Ronald McDonald residence in New York City that houses cancer patients who are in treatment. In addition to cleaning, volunteers held a dinner for residents.

Wise & Healthy Aging: In September 2010, Collective’s LA office worked at the Wise & Healthy Aging call center to educate people across the country on telemarketing fraud and preventative measures against the financial abuse of seniors.
